Christmas is my favorite time of year. It’s a beautiful reminder to make time for your loved ones and to be intentional about giving and focusing on the good things in life. It’s fun and bright and festive and a season filled of love, joy and peace.
But life can still be tough this time of year, we will go through trials in this world. It’s super important to keep your focus on the true reason for the season, Jesus. Warner’s Pure Maple Syrup
I’ve partnered up with Warner’s Pure Maple Syrup to make this recipe. Loudon Crest Farms has been producing maple syrup for over 140 years, making it a staple in the community. Their farm’s rich history and tradition of sugaring off, dates back to the late 19th century. That means the Warner Family has been making syrup for over 140 years!!
This traditional method of producing maple syrup involves boiling sap for three hours to produce a batch of syrup, with a production rate of about two gallons per hour. The Warner family follows strict guidelines from the US Department of Agriculture and the ODNR to ensure the highest quality maple syrup is produced, maintaining the farm’s reputation for excellence.
Check out their website: warnerspuremaplesyrup.com to learn more about how they make their syrup and click here for a link to purchase. It will make for the perfect holiday gift for your loved ones.

This is the PERFECT cookie recipe for the holiday season. The flavors are festive and are sure to please a crowd. You could make these cookies for Christmas, or anytime throughout the season. They would be a wonderful recipe for a holiday family get together or to make for Santa on Christmas Eve.
Making them with your kids, best friend or lover would be such a fun festive holiday activity!! OR you could even make them for your neighbors, a cookie exchange, essential workers in your community, your church family or school teachers. Cookies always make such a kind and thoughtful gift. They’re also personal and affordable. The holidays are the best time to give homemade gift and spread the spirit of Christmas.

What is Brown Butter & How Do You Make It?
Basically brown butter is just butter that’s been cooked on the stove. It foams up and the milk solids caramelize giving it it’s delicious deep nutty flavor. It takes a few quick minutes on the stove and the smell is like no other. Let’s just say it’s amazing and it’s a GAME CHANGER when baking. It’s hard to go back once you make it a few times and super simple to make so the extra step is optional but 100% worth it.
You can still make this recipe without using brown butter it just won’t have the nutty flavor but will still be delicious. If you also want the texture to be the same, I would use melted butter because the consistency of brown butter and melted will be the most similar.
Be careful not to walk away as it could burn or overflow when it foams. I have a quick video on how to make brown butter- HERE!! It takes just a few minutes to make but this video is a visual way to see if that helps you out!!i

Brown Butter Maple Pecan Cookies
Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a sauce pan over medium high heat, add your butter and let melt. Once it’s melted, keep it on the heat and let it cook for 5-10 minutes until it foams up and then turns an amber brown color. Transfer into a glass measuring cup and let cool.
- In a large bowl add your cooled browned butter, brown sugar and sugar and stir until combined.
- Add your eggs, vanilla extract, maple extract (optional), and Warner’s Pure Maple Syrup and whisk together until well combined.
- Then, add your dry ingredients, including your flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking soda and salt and mix until just incorporated.
- Add your chopped toasted pecans and mix.
- Scoop your cookie dough onto your baking sheets lined with parchment paper a couple inches apart (to prevent from spreading into each other.)
- Bake in the oven at 350 F for 8-10 minutes, until edges start to set. Remove from oven and let cool.
- In a small bowl add your Warner’s Pure Maple Syrup, powdered sugar and milk (or heavy cream) and stir until it comes together.
- Once you cookies have cooled, drizzle with your maple glaze and top with more chopped toasted pecans.
