For Cookies:
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a sauce pan over medium high heat, add your butter and let melt. Once it's melted, keep it on the heat and let it cook for 5-10 minutes until it foams up and then turns an amber brown color. Transfer into a glass measuring cup and let cool.
- In a large bowl add your cooled browned butter, brown sugar and sugar and stir until combined.
- Add your eggs, vanilla extract, maple extract (optional), and Warner's Pure Maple Syrup and whisk together until well combined.
- Then, add your dry ingredients, including your flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking soda and salt and mix until just incorporated.
- Add your chopped toasted pecans and mix.
- Scoop your cookie dough onto your baking sheets lined with parchment paper a couple inches apart (to prevent from spreading into each other.)
- Bake in the oven at 350 F for 8-10 minutes, until edges start to set. Remove from oven and let cool.
For Glaze:
- In a small bowl add your Warner's Pure Maple Syrup, powdered sugar and milk (or heavy cream) and stir until it comes together.
- Once you cookies have cooled, drizzle with your maple glaze and top with more chopped toasted pecans.
- Serve, share and enjoy!!
