Eggnog Cookies

December 20, 2025

These Eggnog Cookies are inspired by the classic holiday sweet drink, eggnog!! They are made with real Eggnog and spiced with nutmeg and cinnamon giving it that festive flavor. They’re a spiced cookie topped with eggnog whipped cream and a dash of nutmeg. Cozy up this holiday season with these fun flavorful Christmas Cookies.

If you are a fan of Eggnog then you will LOVE these cookies but even if you aren’t, you still may like them!! Before making this recipe, I had never tried eggnog and when I did I was surprised. It didn’t taste like eggs. It tasted like thick creamy nutmeg milk. Almost like melted Ice Cream which makes sense cause it’s made with the same ingredients.

Christmas is one of my favorite times of year. I love how it challenges people to focus more on their family, giving and taking time to slow down. It’s so cozy and bright and festive and truly brings so much joy.

The Holidays can bring a lot of stress as well so whatever this season looks like for you, it’s important to remember the TRUE reason for the season, Jesus. God sent Jesus down as a baby, becoming fully human while also being fully God, to save this world from sin and be able to be right with God. Salvation in Him is a FREE gift. Nothing we can do will ever be able to earn it. AND No one is ever too far gone to receive it. Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord, will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

What Should I Make These For?

This is the PERFECT cookie recipe for the holiday season. The flavors are festive and are sure to please a crowd. You could make these cookies for Christmas, or anytime throughout the season. They would be a wonderful recipe for a holiday family get together or to make for Santa on Christmas Eve.

Making them with your kids, best friend or lover would be such a fun festive holiday activity!! OR you could even make them for your neighbors, a cookie exchange, essential workers in your community, your church family or school teachers. Cookies always make such a kind and thoughtful gift. They’re also personal and affordable. The holidays are the best time to give homemade gift and spread the spirit of Christmas.

To get my cookies to be super round and all the same shape, I like using a round glass, a biscuit cutter or cookie cutter to the lid of a mason jar!! It’s definitely not required but just a fun little tip, I like to use. I’ll share a link HERE to some on amazon if you’d like to try out this simple yet effective baking hack. (affiliate code)

I love creating a list of all the ingredients you will need to make my recipe on the post before the recipe. That way you can clearly see everything you’ll need and what you may need to go grab at the store to make them.
