Pumpkin French Toast

This Pumpkin French Toast is the most cozy and warm fall breakfast recipe. It's made with thick sliced Brioche Bread and flavors of cinnamon, pumpkin and vanilla. Paired with a creamy homemade cinnamon whipped cream and pure maple syrup making this a delicious treat. If you are looking for a flavorful fall breakfast idea for the holidays, this is it. Ingredients
  

For Pumpkin French Toast:
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • splash of vanilla extract
  • dash of cinnamon
  • dash of pumpkin pie spice
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 loaf of thick sliced Brioche Bread
For Whipped Cream and toppings:
  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • pure maple syrup for topping
  • butter for topping
  • powdered sugar for sprinkling

Method
 

  1. In a baking dish add your pumpkin puree, heavy whipping cream, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and salt and whisk until it all comes together and is well combined.
  2. Dip your Brioche Bread into the mixture on both sides and place it into your buttered sauce pan on the stove over medium heat. Let cook on both sides, insuring your bread is cooked thoroughly.
  3. Remove from sauce pan and transfer onto a plate and continue with the rest of your brioche bread and pumpkin mixture.
  4. To make the whipped cream, add your heavy whipping cream, maple syrup and cinnamon into a large measuring cup and whip until it thickens.
  5. Add your whipped cream to your pumpkin french toast along with some pure maple syrup and enjoy!!
