- In a large bowl add your heat treated oats, protein powder, peanut butter, honey, maple syrup, and chia seeds. Stir together until well combined.
- Scoop with a 1-2 tablespoon cookie scoop onto a piece of parchment paper or a plate. Scoop until all your mixture is gone.
- In a small bowl add your chocolate and coconut oil and melt until smooth. Be careful not to burn your chocolate and be sure to stir in between.
- Drizzle your chocolate over your energy bites and top with flaky sea salt.
- Let chill, serve and enjoy!!
Notes
How do I heat treat oats? Oats can carry bacteria so eating them raw can be unsafe, to heat treat them all you do is heat them in the microwave for about a minute. This will kill any bacteria.
Do I have to use chia seeds. No, you can still make this recipe without chia seeds and it will still be great!!
