Peach Crisp

Warm, delicious peach crisp is the perfect dessert to end of summer and transfer into fall with. Soft peaches and crisp oat topping goes perfectly with vanilla ice cream. If you are looking for a fall cozy dessert than this is it. Brown sugar, cinnamon and oats are a few ingredients that make up this amazing dessert.

For Peach Layer:
- 6 peaches fresh, sliced
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/3 cup sugar
For Crisp Layer:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup oats old fashioned
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup butter cold, cubed, unsalted
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Peach Layer:
Preheat your oven to 375℉.
Cut your peaches into thin slices.
In a small bowl add your cornstarch and lemon juice and whisk until there are no clumps.
In a large bowl add your sliced peaches, cornstarch lemon juice mixture, sugar and cinnamon and stir until all well combined and peaches are evenly coated.
Add your peaches into a 9 by 13 inch baking dish and spread out evenly.
Crisp Layer:
In a bowl add your oats, flour, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon and whisk until combined.
Add your cubed butter and use a pastry blender to mix together. You can also use your hands to mix butter together with dry ingredients so it comes altogether.
Crumble your oat mixture over the peaches covering the whole thing. Bake at 375℉ for 30-35 minutes until peaches are soft and crisp is golden brown.
Remove from oven and let cool.
Scoop some out into a dish or bowl and top with vanilla ice cream.
