What are monster cookies you ask? Well, let me tell you. They are one of the best kinds of cookies because they take 3 of the best kinds of cookies and mix it into one dough… and then add one of the best cookie add-ins there is, M&Ms!!
I can’t wait to dive into all the amazing Valentine’s Day recipes that are fun, festive, easy and quick and perfect to make for your loved ones for a very special Valentine’s Day dessert. You can make these with your kids, for a galentines, for your special person, for your family, a love day get together, your co-workers, small group or honestly JUST FOR YOU cause you deserve it. 🙂
Let’s talk about Valentine’s Day- I know there can sometimes be some controversy about Valentine’s Day. For example, some people don’t enjoy the mushy gushy celebration of love and some people who are single don’t like a day reminding them of their singleness, and others may feel especially lonely. I’ve been single for my whole 21 years of life, BUT I personally love Valentine’s Day because I love, LOVE.
Don’t get me wrong, that doesn’t mean I haven’t felt those feelings before. I just love celebrating life as much as I can because life is a gift, even if I’m single. Holidays are the perfect opportunity for that and Valentine’s is the perfect time to celebrate EVERYONE you love. Not just your special “one.” I know that day will come for me when God shows me the right person and I’m thankful for the season I’m in even though I desire to be married one day. I’m trusting in God with my future and I hope this can encourage you to as well. 🙂
Even though this year I may not be receiving a box of chocolate and a teddy bear, I will be receiving eternal love from my Jesus. Which is better anyway and best be betting I’ll get myself a pint or two of Graeters Ice Cream as well. I think it all comes down to the perspective we have on life and on love. God is love and He creating all things that are good so that’s what keeps me going.
SO with all that being said, VALENTINE’S DAY is so so special because it gives us a SPECIFIC opportunity to show our love and be loved and reminds us we should always LOVE. Well, what better way to show our love than with DESSERT? You’ve come to the right place because I love sharing desserts that are perfect for each holiday.
These Valentine’s Day Monster cookies are the perfect dessert for your special day. They are flavorful, easy to make, no chill, chocolatey and super quick to whip up. I am so excited for you to try them out. They truly are delicious.
Cookies are one of my favorite recipes to create and desserts to make. I love that they are a dessert anyone can make. Although they may take a little practice to PERFECT, if you have a good recipe they are almost guaranteed to work with any level of baking experience. Plus cookies are just one dough with a handful of ingredients.
I love sharing a list of everything you’ll need to make my recipes before I get into all the details so that way you can see everything you may need to grab at the store to make these and see what you already have. That way you don’t start making the recipe and then realize you’re missing an ingredient. Always make sure you have everything you need before you start baking.

- Then, add all of your dry ingredients, including your flour, baking soda, oats and salt. Stir until just combined. If your dough seems too dry, add 2 tbsp of milk.
- Add your chocolate chips, and m&ms reserving some for the tops of the cookies. Stir until just combined.
- Scoop out your cookie dough into 1-2 inch balls and place on your baking sheets lined with parchment paper a few inches apart. (to prevent them from spreading into each other) Top with additional chocolate chips and M&ms.
