What better dessert to end summer off and transfer into fall with than a peach crisp?! It’s peach season and this dessert is SO good and super easy to make. It’s made up of two layers, the peach layer and the crisp layer. AND of course you can top it with vanilla ice cream if you’d like to as well.
Fall is one of my favorite times of year to bake. I love the cozy feeling of autumn and baking, makes it all the more better. The flavors of fall are so perfect to bake with and this crisp is just that, PERFECT!! Plus, since peaches are in season at the end of summer it’s such a good dessert to make in between the two seasons.
Cinnamon, oats, brown sugar, and butter are just some of the ingredients that make up this delicious fall recipe and I’m here for it. I love warm cozy flavors and anything with cinnamon. That is why fall baking is so good. Spices like cinnamon, ginger, clove, all spice and nutmeg are so good to bake with.
Peaches are such a good fruit to bake with and they pair so well with fall flavors. I also love baking with apples and pumpkin during autumn as well. My kitchen smelt so good pulling these out of the oven.
Growing up I would ALWAYS get so excited for fall baking and the cooler weather and the changing leaves. It’s the best season. Now that I live in Florida, I still get excited but just not for cooler weather. 😉 That comes in November here which is honestly so nice to finally have a relief from the heat for a few months.
I’m so excited for you guys to try this recipe out. It truly is super easy to make, anyone can do it!! The warm soft peaches with the oat topping and cool ice cream is the best combination and is like a warm cozy party in your mouth. I hope you love it as much as I do and that all those you make it for enjoy it!!
