These Marbled Chocolate Chip Cookies was one of my first ever recipes I shared here on my blog, Whiskfully Blessed. It’s about time they had a makeover!!
The other day my friend came over and we wanted to make cookies and we of course love the CLASSIC chocolate chip cookies but I wanted to do something with a bit of a twist because we’ve made those before so we decided to make them marbled and use brown butter.
SO of course as a result, I had to come and update this recipe because I hadn’t made them in quite sometime. It was so fun to make these and update the recipe and photos. I am so excited for you guys to try them.
If you know me, you know that I, and most of my family are OBSESSED with chocolate. As much as regular chocolate chip cookies are pleasing to the sweet tooth sometimes we need the extra punch of chocolate to not only please our sweet tooth but our chocolate cravings too.
If you can relate to that, or you just really want something delicious to bake up, these cookies are for you. With one base dough and simple instructions these are totally worth making and I hope that when you take a bite that you smile from ear to ear cause these marbled chocolate chip cookies are truly amazing.
AND like I said in my original blog post of this recipe, “they are like chocolate chip cookies and brownies had a baby but in the least weird way possible.” Like what??! LOL
What you’ll need:
- butter (browned)
- sugar
- brown sugar
- eggs
- vanilla extract
- flour
- cocoa powder
- cornstarch
- baking soda
- salt
- chocolate chips
- flaky sea salt (optional)
One thing I love about this recipe is that all of the ingredients are so easy to get but then the result is out of this world. I like to elevate my cookies with topping them with extra chocolate chips and flaky sea salt when they come out of the oven. The salt gives them a great bite and helps balance the flavors but is totally optional if you aren’t a fan of salt.
Let’s Get Started!!
