With fall comes all the warm and spicy flavors we all love. Something I love about seasons and holidays are that they always give us something to look forward to. They make people smile and give us all a reason to gather.
Have you ever had one of those mornings where you wake up, head to the kitchen in your cozy pjs, light a candle, and get to cooking or baking something delicious to lure your family members to wakw up? Chill, relaxing mornings like that are the best, right?
Well this recipe will be sure to make them get up with smile. What’s better than starting your day off than with Jesus, family, candles and FRENCH TOAST?
French toast is actually very simple to put together and takes almost no time to whip up. It consists of a mixture of eggs, milk, heavy cream, and any flavor add-ins you’d like and then thickly sliced brioche bread (or bread of your choice) dipped in the mixture and cooked until golden.
What you’ll need to make Maple Pecan French Toast—
•thickly sliced brioche bread
• eggs
• milk
• heavy cream
• cinnamon
• vanilla extract
• pure maple syrup
• toasted pecans
This recipe brings out those special flavors of fall in an easy step by step recipe. The syrup is real. The pecans are toasted. AND the faces are grinning. Let’s get started—
Maple Pecan French Toast
Ingredients
- What you need:
- – 1 loaf of thickly sliced brioche bread
- – 2 eggs
- – 3/4 cup of milk
- – 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- – 1 tbsp of cinnamon
- – 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- – 1 tbsp maple syrup
- – 1 cup of toasted pecans
Instructions
- Directions:
- – In a medium dish add your milk, cream, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla and syrup and stir until combined.
- – Heat your stove to medium heat and heat up a medium sized pan.
- – Dip your bread into the prepared mixture on each side and place onto heated pan.
- – Cook and flip until both sides have no moisture is left. When they are are golden brown, they are ready.
- – Continue with the rest of your bread and mixture.
- – Top with your toasted pecans, your favorite syrup, cinnamon and whipped topping.
- – Share and Enjoy!
