We all grew up eating Little Debbies packaged treats. I feel as though we have a love-hate relationship with them though. They are good (some better than others) and very nostalgic BUT if I’m being honest, they don’t even compare to homemade treats.
If you are a fan of the packaged Oatmeal Cream Pies (or know someone who is) then you’ll love this recipe. They look just like them and taste better. Definitely more fresh PLUS these ones have a maple twist to them that are absolutely perfect for fall.
I know there are a lot of recipes with pumpkin this time of year. But what about those who don’t like pumpkin? (Doesn’t include me cause I love it!!) WELL, although my blog has plenty of pumpkin recipes I love to include the other flavors of fall as well. Like maple, cinnamon, apple, spice, and vanilla.
These Maple Oatmeal Cream Pies were a big hit. My grandpa and grandma were over and they tried them!! I asked them to rate the oatmeal cream pies 1-10 and they said 10!! I’m sure they weren’t being bias or anything!! 😉
These cookies are so easy to make and pretty quick too! They are soft and chewy and the maple flavor is SO good. The cream oozes from the sides. I know my other grandma would love them and my Papa in Heaven, even more.
