Childhood in cookie form, these Frosted Animal Cracker Cookies are soft, chewy and have the perfect crunch from the sprinkles. They are fun, cute and nostalgic and so such an easy recipe to make. Perfect as a birthday party dessert or weeknight indulgence. These colorful sprinkle sugar cookies are a copycat crumb cookie recipe but they’re even better than the real thing!!

One thing I love about Crumbl Cookies is that they have so many fun rotating flavors!! This Circus Animal Sugar Cookie is one of my favs there, so I knew I had to recreate at home for you guys!! They’re so soft like the Crumbl Cookie version and the little frosted animal cracker and sprinkles add the perfect little crunch, but honestly I like this copycat recipe even more!!
This fun summery cookie recipe is made up of a couple components. They are all so easy to achieve, honestly anyone can make this recipe! First the sugar cookie dough, mixed together all in one bowl and packed with rainbow nonpareil sprinkles, make these the perfect base. Second is the white glaze that is made up of only two ingredients, adding a bright sweet component. Lastly the toppings MAKE these cookies: a cute little frosted animal cracker and sprinkled with more nonpareil sprinkles.
Such an easy spring and summer recipe that makes for the cutest cookies. They are really that easy to bake. They are quick to make and bring back childhood memories. Frosted Animal Cracker Sugar Cookies are one of those desserts that you can make for so many events and festivities.

What Should I Make These For?
This is the PERFECT cookie recipe for the spring and summer season. The flavors are indulgent and are sure to please a crowd. You could make these cookies for a cookout, birthday party, back to school, summer get together, baby shower, or anytime throughout the season. It would also be so fun to make with your friends, love, or kiddos this summer.

To get my cookies to be super round and all the same shape, I like using a round glass, a biscuit cutter or cookie cutter to the lid of a mason jar!! It’s definitely not required but just a fun little tip, I like to use. I’ll share a link HERE to some on amazon if you’d like to try out this simple yet effective baking hack. (affiliate code)
