But there are SO many ways to elevate the flavor of fresh chocolate chip cookies and doing it with brown butter and toffee is easily one of my favorites. These cookies will DEFINITELY make you drool for more and close your eyes to savor every bite.

What is Brown Butter?
Basically brown butter is just butter that’s been cooked on the stove. It foams up and the milk solids caramelize giving it its delicious deep nutty flavor. Let’s just say it’s amazing and it’s a GAME CHANGER when baking. It’s hard to go back.
Cookies are one of the most nostalgic desserts and I am so excited for you to get baking so that you can smile, relax and enjoy and homemade baked good.
Can I used store bought toffee bits or do I have to make the homemade?
You can do either!! Store bought toffee bits, especially Heath bits, would be perfect for this recipe. If you do go ahead and decide to make homemade toffee bits, I promise it isn’t too hard and it will be worth it in the end!
