These Raspberry Linzer Cookies are an almond shortbread cookie filled with a raspberry jam, sandwiched with a cutout cookie, dusted in powdered sugar. They are such an elegant and festive cookie recipe. Perfect treat for a tea party.
These cookies would be so fun for the holidays. You could make them during Christmastime to share with friends, neighbors, teachers or for a Christmas tea. They would be sooo fun and festive for Christmas cookie boxes. Another holiday these would be gorgeous for is valentines day and you could cut out a heart as the shape.

Welcome to my 12 Days of Christmas Cookie Series:
Every year, I do a Christmas cookie series in the months of November and December called my 12 days of Christmas cookie series. I share 12 new different Christmas Cookie recipes and you guys seem to love them AND I love doing it, so it has become my tradition.
I love doing different holiday inspired recipes for you guys to make with your friends, family and loved ones. These recipes are perfect to share with anyone in your community. There so simple to make but so festive and delicious.

I love how customizable these Raspberry Linzer Tea Cookies are. You could swap out the shape for a cozy festive spin, use a circle for everyday and a heart for valentines day. Next time I make them, I want to try different shapes! You could also customize them by switching out the filling. Another type of jam or preserves, chocolate hazelnut spread or peanut butter. The possibilities are endless.

Here are some of my favorite Christmas cookie recipes:
- Cutout Gingerbread Cookies
- Peanut Butter Chocolate Marbled Cookies
- White Chocolate Coconut Macadamia Nut Cookies
- Chocolate Peppermint Cookies
- Hot Cocoa Cookies
- Peanut Butter Cup Cookies
Representing all the Christmas flavors in my series is a high priority. I LOVEEEE the cozy flavors of Peppermint, Cinnamon, Gingerbread, Nutmeg, Cherry, Peanut Butter and Chocolate, Hot Cocoa, brown sugar, marshmallow, caramel, and love to make cookies inspired by them in my series.
