Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and I love that it gives me something to look forward to after the busyness of the holidays slow down. It’s so fun to have something to plan for and of course, BAKE for!!
These Valentines Sugar Cookie Blossom Cookies are so soft and chewy. The recipe is super quick and easy to make that a beginner level baker could even make them. Plus you can decide how festive you want to make them. You could add Hershey’s chocolate kisses on top or you can make them without.
I love to roll the cookies in Valentines sprinkles. For these I used light pink sanding sugar, valentines nonpareils, dark pink sanding sugar, mini heart sprinkles but you could use any kinds you’d like to. Red and purples would be so cute to do as well.
You can also make these cookies on a normal everyday and just roll them in white sugar before baking and top with kisses if you don’t want to make them for valentines day.
I love that Valentine’s Day is all about love and affection and sharing that with those you love. I feel like a lot of people have a love hate relationship with this holiday and I understand why but also I love to celebrate anytime I can and LOVE is definitely something that is worth celebrating.
This is my first year having a valentine and I am 22 years old so I am super excited. I know what it feels like to desire someone and wait for the right person. In my season of singleness, something I did, was go out do fun things with my family even when I was single.
Singleness is truly a gift and although it may not feel like that on Valentine’s Day, take this season to love the people God has put in your life and take it as an opportunity where you have freedom like you’ll never have again and work on yourself.
Wait for the right person. Love is patient and when that relationship comes it will grow you in ways you never would expect it to.
I love baking for every holiday and baking for valentines is always so fun for a few reasons. ONE, because CHOCOLATE. duhhh chocolate is my love language. Two, the other flavors like berries and red velvet of course and then I also love the colors. The pinks and reds, and purples are just so much fun!!
Anything that has to do with chocolate and hearts sounds like fun to me. I can’t wait for all the fun festivities to come.
