S’mores is the number one flavor I think about for summertime. It’s such a well loved classic but sometimes classics become even better when you break the rules. AND in this case, PUTTING ICE CREAM ON IT.
As most of you all know, s’mores are created up of 3 main ingredients, graham crackers, roasted marshmallows and milk chocolate. For some reason my brain decided to add ice cream in between the two graham crackers, alongside the chocolate marshmallows and it was perfect. SO FUN.
It was like taking two of the best summer treats and combining them. When I think of summertime, I think of ice cream and cold treats and then I think of cookouts and s’mores. So why not add them together? SO GOOD. There is no going back now.
If you really want to impress your friends and family this year, whip out some ice cream by the bonfire and everyone will thank you for the epic idea.
What ice cream flavor should I add?
For the s’mores ice cream sandwiches I added Graeter’s s’mores flavored ice cream and it was heavenly. Honestly I think almost any ice cream flavor would work. Chocolate would be so good, vanilla would be such a classic and even flavors like Caramel or Strawberry would be so good. Any flavor that goes well with the flavors of s’mores should work, so maybe just not like mint chocolate chip. HAHA
What you’ll need:

Summer time is such a great season to make the best memories. Some of my favorite times with my family is when we have cookouts. Hotdogs and hamburgers and watermelon and corn on the cob and of course, S’MORES. It’s so fun. The hot summers and the refreshing pool and the smell of bonfire on your clothes. I’m a lover of all things nostalgic and traditions so cookouts and bonfires are some of my favorite summer activities.
