Sometimes life can be hectic and you just need an easy no bake treat recipe with only a handful of ingredients that will please a crowd. Well, if that’s you, you’ve come to the right place.

Cereal treats are such fun, kid friendly recipes that are super quick and simple to make, yet so versatile and delicious. They are whipped up in less than 30 minutes and will probably be gone just as quick because of how good they are!!

S’mores are one of the most beloved summer/fall flavor combinations so I love creating s’mores inspired recipes that have graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate involved. They are the perfect bonfire treat which makes them great for summer nights or transitioning into fall with those crisp autumn evenings.

This recipe would be perfect for a game day dessert and is the best treat for football season. It’s so good and all ages would enjoy them. They are easy to wrap up and take with you and you can easily double this recipe if you’re feeding a bigger crowd.

You could make these with your kids, your loved one, or even gift a teacher or neighbor some. They make the perfect snack or weeknight sweet treat.

To Make Them:

These cereal treats consist of three components: the base, the gooey marshmallow mixture and the, of course, the toppings. Basically everything you want in a s’more and a cereal treat, but combined.

The base is Golden Grahams cereal. Crisp, crunchy and flavorful and the perfect representation of the “graham cracker” portion of the s’mores. You could also incorporate real graham crackers as a part of this too if you’d like or even use Cinnamon Toast Crunch if you’d like. (that would be heavenly)

Next, is the ooey gooey marshmallow mixture. To make this, you melt your mini marshmallows and butter together. Then, continue stirring until it’s well combined and is a thin gooey liquid. You can do this process on the stove or in the microwave. Be careful not to cook or burn your marshmallow mixtures.

Once your cereal and marshmallow mixture is well combined and pressed down into your baking dish, it’s time to make them look pretty. I love topping them off with some Hershey’s Milk chocolate pieces and some more mini marshmallows.

I love creating a list of all the ingredients you will need to make my recipe on the post before the recipe. That way you can clearly see everything you’ll need and what you may need to go grab at the store to make them.

What You’ll Need:

  • Golden Grahams cereal
  • 10 oz bag of mini marshmallows
  • butter
  • Hershey’s Milk Chocolate
  • parchment paper

All the ingredients are very simple and easy to find at your local grocery store OR already in your kitchen ready to go. They are simple ingredients but together make such a delicious fun recipe and I’m so excited for you to try them out.
