If you are anything like me, brownies are your weakness. When I’m eating cake its super easy to just eat one slice but with BROWNIES, I could eat like 4… HAHA Anyone else like this? ANYWAYYY, I am so excited for you guys to try out this recipe.
These are super quick to make and can be whipped up in less than an hour. Plus they are pretty easy to make as well. The chocolate peanut butter combination is one I cannot get enough of. NOW, imagine adding peanut butter cups to the tops of these…. GLORY.
Brownie batter is pretty easy to make. First you combine your melted butter and chocolate chips and stir it until it’s well combined. You whip up your eggs and sugars until super light and frothy (that’s what gives you those crackly tops) and then combine both mixtures along with your vanilla. From there you add your dry ingredients and that’s basically it!!
Let’s say you came across my brownie video but you aren’t the biggest fan of peanut butter and your question is… Can I still make these without the peanut butter? The answer is YES!! Absolutely !! I also have this recipe, Fudgy Crinkle Top Brownies & Brownie Skillet Cookies if you are looking for a brownie recipe without pb.
I like making a list of all the ingredients you’ll need to make my recipes so that way you can easily see what you’ll need & what you already have!! Screenshot this list and once you have everything, you’re ready to go!!
What You’ll Need:
- butter
- brown sugar
- sugar
- eggs
- chocolate chips
- vanilla extract
- cocoa powder
- flour
- salt
- dark chocolate
- peanut butter
- flaky sea salt
Let’s Get Started!!
Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup chocolate chips melted
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup dark chocolate chopped
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Pre-heat your oven to 325° F and line a 9 by 13 inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, add your eggs and sugar and whisk until combined and has a foamy consistency.
- In a separate bowl, add your melted butter and melted chocolate and stir until combined. I usually do this step in a large measuring cup.
- Slowly pour your chocolate butter mixture into your sugar egg mixture. Stir until combined.
- Add your vanilla extract and stir again.
- Add in your flour, cocoa powder and salt and mix until just combined. Batter should be thick.
- Pour your brownie batter into your baking dish lined with parchment. (Parchment helps remove the brownies from you pan and avoids sticking) Spread it out evenly and top with dark chocolate.
- Melt your peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl and pour it over your brownie pan. Swirl it around with your brownie batter. Not too much though, you don't want to mix it in, just swirl it.
- Bake in your oven pre-heated to 325° for about 25-30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and top with flaky sea salt. Let cool.
- Once your brownies have cooled a little, cut into squares.
- Remove from pan, serve, share and enjoy!!
