I love creating a list of all the ingredients you will need to make my recipe on the post before the recipe. That way you can clearly see everything you’ll need and what you may need to go grab at the store to make them.
What You’ll Need:
- sugar
- flour
- cornstarch
- baking soda
- baking powder
- salt
- milk
- eggs
- vanilla extract
- sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
- oil
- maple extract
- pure maple syrup
All the ingredients are very simple and easy to find at your local grocery store OR already in your kitchen ready to go. They are simple ingredients but together make such a delicious fun recipe and I’m so excited for you to try them out.

Let’s Get Started:

Maple Cinnamon Sugar Cake Donuts
Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your oven to 350° F and grease your donuts pans.
- In a large bowl add your sugar, maple syrup, maple and vanilla extracts, oil, and sour cream. Whisk until well combined.
- Add your eggs in one at a time, mixing in between until incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, add your flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder and salt and whisk until well combined.
- Add 1/3 of your dry ingredients mixture into your wet ingredients and whisk until just incorporated. Add half your milk and mix again.
- Again, add another 1/3 of your dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Be careful not to over mix. Add the second half of your milk and mix until just combined. Then add your last 1/3 of dry ingredients and whisk until combined.
- Pour your batter into your greased donut pans and and bake at 350℉ for 10-12 minutes. I filled mine up a about 3/4 the way full.
- Remove from oven and let cool then using a butter knife gently help release your donuts from the pan. Continue with the rest of your batter.
- Once all your donuts are baked and cooled slightly, brush with melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar to coat your donuts.
- Share and Enjoy!!
