Layered Berry Strawberry Smoothie

January 11, 2024

You know what they say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I love smoothies because they are SUPER easy to make, very versatile, healthy and take almost no time.

Sometimes smoothies can get a little repetitive. That’s why I love making layered marbled smoothies cause you can make two smoothie flavors in one. It’s so fun. This one is Berry and Strawberry but the possibilities are endless.

If you like thick smoothies, always start with less liquid. You can always add more milk (or whatever liquid you’re using) but it’s much harder to thicken it up. One of my biggest tips for GOOD smoothies, especially for a thicker consistency, is to use frozen fruit. It makes it thicker, colder, and way better. You could use fruit that hasn’t been frozen but it will be very liquidy, sort of like a puree. If you like thinner smoothies, just add more liquid until you reach your desired consistency.

What You’ll Need:

  • Frozen Berries
  • Frozen Strawberries
  • Frozen Bananas
  • Milk

All these ingredients are so simple. They can be found at your local grocery store or even already in your kitchen. Frozen fruit can be found all ready for you in the freezer section or you can always freeze fresh fruit yourself in an airtight container.
