Get to know me—
Hey there, my name is Cassidy, I’m 21 years old and I am a baker, food photographer, recipe developer and content creator. I baked as a kid a lot but once I was 13 it really became something I started to pursue and once I got into it, there was no turning back. My whole family has sweet tooth’s and that statement speaks for itself.
I cannot tell you enough, how happy I am that you’re here. Creating a mess in my kitchen and getting to work for brands is something I never thought I’d be doing but it makes so much sense. I hope this finds you well and that my recipes make you smile. And drool…
My Mission
My mission for Whiskfully Blessed is to create recipes for you to bring when you gather around the table. Recipes that make you smile when you take a bite. Desserts that bring back nostalgia to happy times of your life. I hope that you can find recipes on my blog that become staples in your life.
Faith & Family
Jesus and family are THE most important things in my life. I am the 4th child in a family of 6 kids. We have now grown into a family of 17 people!! (and thats not even counting our pets!!) We love God and glorifying him with the gifts He’s given us. James 11:17 says that every good and perfect gift is from above so I’m so thankful for Jesus and his perfect love and salvation. His plan for your life is better than anything you could create on your own. I’m so thankful for the opportunities He has brought me and I want everything I do to bring Him glory.
Where I am from
I am originally from the good ole Buckeye State. Ohio is my home but I now have two places to call home. Ohio AND Florida! I grew up going to Florida on vacation and my family finally moved there at the end of 2020… (yeah perfect time to move, am I right?) As much as 2020 was crazy, we can still all find some good things about it. I now live in Florida and I love building a new community here and visiting all the fun places. It was definitely hard for me to move but I have finally adapted and Florida is feeling more and more like home. It’s crazy to look back and see how much I’ve grown and changed since first moving here. God has lead me to a community that is even better than the one I had when I left Ohio.
Aside from Baking
I love learning new skills and hobbies. I’m one of those people who get half good at a lot of things but don’t stick to just one thing. HAHA. I love music and singing and playing ukulele and guitar. I serve as the worship leader for the youth at my church. It’s so fun to lead young students in worship. That’s one way I grew my relationship with God so it’s a big desire of mine to help students see how worship is so important and such a weapon in life. He is so worthy of our praise.
I also love to serve as a photographer, missionary and in kids church as well. God has put so many passions in my heart for the local church and I’m so thankful. Also of course the passion to bake and create which I’m honored to share with you all here.
